Advanced Aircraft Analysis (AAA) provides a powerful framework to support the iterative and non-unique process of aircraft preliminary design. The AAA program allows students and preliminary design engineers to take an aircraft configuration from early weight sizing through open loop and closed loop dynamic stability and sensitivity analysis, while working within regulatory and cost constraints.
Aircraft Performance Program (APP) computes the complete range of performance parameters over a user-specified range of altitudes, speeds and other variables. The program is designed for simplicity and flexibility in its use and provides the user with useful quick-look (evaluate) functions for the examination of a wide variety of data (e.g. thrust, fuel flow, lift, drag, SEP, turn rate, etc.)
FlightStream® is a high fidelity aerodynamics tool perfectly suited for aircraft designers. The integrated meshing tool allows users to easily apply a surface mesh to their CAD models. The unique vorticity based flow solver, which uses only a surface mesh, produces accurate solutions in a fraction of the time required by full volume mesh CFD solvers. The solver is capable of modelling and analyzing aircraft, propellers, high-lift devices and jet engine effects. The intuitive user interface, utility of the meshing tool and robustness of the flow solver allow users of all skill levels to quickly and easily obtain accurate aerodynamic results.
SharkCAD Pro-AP combines SharkCAD Pro with AeroPack which is a collection of unique drawing tools created specifically for airplane design and drafting that can also read geometric information from the Advanced Aircraft Analysis (AAA) analysis modules. AeroPack is an add-on enhancement for SharkCAD Pro, creating one seamlessly integrated package.
FAR 23 LOADS provides a procedure to calculate the loads on an airplane according to the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 14 – Aeronautics and Space, Chapter I – Federal Aviation Administration, Subchapter C – Aircraft, Part 23 – Airworthiness Standards, Normal, Utility, Acrobatic and Commuter Category Airplanes, Subpart C – Structures.
