Shark FX v7 is a 2D/3D modeling package that provides a comprehensive set of tools to create, share, and present digital models. With over 140 new features, v7 represents a significant update in value for precision based CAD. Some of the noteworthy changes include updates to usability, 3D modeling, 2D drafting, interoperability and photo-rendering. Shark FX Companion Program
Replace or compliment an existing CAD/CAM/CAE application with a seat of Shark FX v7 using the Shark FX Companion program. Special Pricing through Sept 30, 2010!Data Translator Companion: Use the extensive data translators in FX to bridge the gap to other CAD/CAM/CAE applications. Among the data translators in Shark FX v7 you will find CATIA v5, CATIA v4, Pro/E, STEP, IGES, and AutoCAD. To bring a CATIA V5 into AutoCAD, import the CAT and export a DWG file to AutoCAD.
You can use Shark to create a bridge between ProE,CATIA, Inventor and Rhino by reading into Shark and then exporting as STEP into Rhino.
Modeling Companion: Complement the surface modeling of Rhino with precision solid modeling. In particular the solid modeling tools of blending, shelling, and local face in Shark exceed those found in Rhino.
Software Description
Shark FX-AP integrates DARcorporation AeroPack into Punch Software Shark FX, which is a full-featured application that supports an integrated collection of 2D, 3D, surface, and solid modeling tools, photorealistic rendering and animation. Shark FX includes numerous spline creation and modification commands, seventeen surface construction methods, blending, chamfering, shelling, stretching, twisting, bending, and local face operations.
