January 2009: In recognition of professional standing and successful practice, the Officers and Directors of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) declare that Willem A.J. Anemaat has been admitted to the grade of Associate Fellow.

Dr. Anemaat was presented this award at the AIAA Associate Fellows Dinner on Monday, 5 January 2009 at the Orlando Marriott World Center, Orlando, Fla.

To be selected for the grade of Associate Fellow an individual must be an AIAA Senior Member with at least twelve years professional experience in their field, and have been recommended by a minimum of three AIAA members who are already Associate Fellows.
