DARcorporation claimed the Pullet Surprise Championship Trophy at the Chicken Chucking Competition On Saturday, April 22, 2006!

The longest launch from our catapult was over 49 feet. Six other teams competed, featuring such diverse designs as an over-sized crossbow, a tre-buchet, and even a bicycle wheel designed to generate centrifugal force.

The Chicken Chucking Contest is an annual event to raise money for Headquarters Counseling Center, as part of their Life Support Rally.

The object of the competition is to construct a catapult to launch a rubber chicken further than the other teams. The catapult must contain a piece no larger than 2 in. x 4 in. x 80 in., and cannot exceed 4 feet in height.
